Employee Discounts

They will not adjust prices even if marked, and do not extend the same discounts to an employee ad they would a customer. It’s part of the benefit package, but in reality it’s a lie

Our employee discount is 10% off, but it must be with your badge and it pulls from your weeks pay, so you can only spend so much with your discount.

It's ok, I guess 10% is better than nothing. I don't spend a lot of money at Menards so it's not a big deal for me to get a few cents off my items every once in a while. It does make it easier to spend your paychecks though, and I see a lot of people wasting their checks on overpriced junk close to the registers.

The only downside to the employee discount is that the amount is limited to a percentage of next weeks pay and is deducted from said pay. Otherwise, the 10% can combo with any other promotions in the store with no restrictions.

Actually a decent benefit if it was done correctly. It’s a 10% straight discount. The one caveat is that all team member purchases must come out of your check. This severely limits you buying power.

We would get to have an employee discount. It is credited to the paycheck so whatever you spend came from your paycheck

the discount policy is crazy, it penalizes the lowest paid employees by only allowing them to receive a discount up to the amount of their paycheck
