What is the best or worst thing about the benefits package at MetLife? MetLife offers great employee benefits, including health and great dental insurance. The downside of it is that some of the more widely accepted insurance carriers have been removed as an option over the years, and after years of having the same insurance carrier, having to switch doctors because of this is a downside.

United Health care is the carrier and it is fairly good but has some very unfriendly policies - they require you to go back to your primary physician and re certify use of things prescribed by doctor already.

That you have to pay part of it. Nothing bad really.

It's a very standard health plan so no complaints. It's very affordable for the employee and significantly more expensive to add other participants.

Not quite the top notch health plans that MetLife itself sells that are offered to employees.

Affordable option doesn't t cover much. There is a higher cost healthcare but really expensive.
