In addition to our many course offerings, Methodist Health System provides several leadership development programs (e.g., Emerging Leaders Program, AB Nursing Leadership Academy, etc.), strategic initiative–focused training (e.g., HCAHPS, AIDET, Hourly Rounding, etc.), new employee and new leader orientation, and individual leadership coaching programs.
Nursing advancement is a strong focus for Methodist with programs including the Methodist Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), designed to enhance educational opportunities, leadership development, and clinical expertise. In addition, Methodist partners with a local community college to offer a full nursing associate’s degree program to employees, volunteers, and family members at no cost.
