Relatively little paperwork required and easy to understand.

Quite competitive in the industry. Used to be much better: everything paid, but Obama/abusers changed all that.

Can be expensive if you have large medical bills. Check ups are covered.

MSA is the better option, according to all FTE that I've talked to.

Horrible. You pay 100% for almost everything out of pocket. If you have a family, be prepared to put everything in the HSA you will need because Microsoft doesn't cover anything till you have spent over $6,000 in a year. They contribute a paltry amount into the HSA. It goes fast. Not just that - but the amount of administrative work that you must do just to pay the medical bill is extensive.
If you have any health issues - this is not a company for you. This is particularly sad, because the health benefits used to be the best ever. You never had to worry about anything either dollar or administratively. Now - not at all.

On Par or better than most, never had a complaint other than the fact that they cannot handle nuances like divorced families well
