Sick Leave

Eight days for the year. It's odd that "sick days" would be counted for salaried employees.

There is a limit of 6 paid sick datys per year, so you have to file for short term disability for a serious or repetitive health condition. Your claim may not be accepted and the frst 5 days of short term disability are not paid anyway, so you have to use paid sick days, PTO etc or go unpaid until you can return to work.
