Company matches and adds in a separate contribution regardless of how much you put in. Fees are also low. Worst thing is that the provider is a very small company with lacking apps/interfaces.

An effective 6% 401k match is probably industry standard but extremely sub par when compared to Lockheed Martins plans. The provider they use for their 401k, Alight, is absolutely horrendous. The actual app/website UI is atrocious and hard to navigate. The fees on are high on typical automatic plan investments like target dates or S&P 500. They do have a self directed option, but there are lots of fees on each transaction.

It's good, but you don't receive anything the company matches until 2 years in.
