Could use some improvement in this area for HR roles, onboarding could use some improvements. Takes a bit to get used to the way things are done here.

We need a better requirement for this type of "benefit" across the organization. My department doesn't have much time for it and if it was required it would put pressure on management to encourage it more.

Although I had a good training experience, I have spoken with lots of colleagues who had a challenging experience with job training. In particular, some of the project management teams have very short time to ramp up their activities and minimal support in training, which leads to inefficiencies and a divergence in the means of executing job functions. I was fortunate to be given a project that served as a self-guided job training exercise as my first major assignment, which gave me a broad and deep understanding of the organization, workflows, and areas in which my new position could improve redundant or inefficient processes.
