I can not think of anything good to say about Ryder at all let alone the health benefits.

For a company which claims they care about their employees they got the worst health plan I have every had. I just went to the doctor and office visit coat me over 300 and then I get a bill in the mail for 424 for two chest xrays. Reason is Ryder benefits don't start pays anything until you meet deductible first then they pay 80 percent. Everywhere but California has crappy insurance. It took two weeks pay just for me to see one doctor and have two x-rays done. Now doctor want to do other test that will cost over 700 because of Ryder insurance. Sorry Ryder but you got to do something to help your employees if you care because I can't afford to go back to doctor. My funeral costs less then one office visit with test done.

Costs rising each year, biting into a salary that doesn't keep up with the cost of living increases. Also no merit increases during economic slowdown.

Health Insurance was a little better than most companies I've worked for.
