Non California employee plans are OK for a big company. "Cadillac" type full benefits are very expensive pushing the employees to choose other options - paid plans + HSA. Contribution to HSA is good though.

high deductible. very restrictive. only Aetna option in North America (exception is Kaiser in California). Aetna plan is geared toward a younger workforce, no family.

Typical high deductible plan, individual is responsible to for the first $1300, then 90% copay up to $2500 per year.
They put $600 per year for an individual in a HSA.

You can choose different health insurance plans for sure, which you can just based on your own condition to make the decision.
