SAP employees are typically paid at more than 100% of scheduled (target) bonus in the offer letter.

You’re tied to your Regions revenue targets. There’s also subjectivity as part of the process. Depending on your manager you could do well or not.

The bonus is great, but is variable between employee to employee.

Excellent track record of paying out bonuses and giving employees transparent idea of whether the company component was on track throughout the year. SAP is an incentive driven organization - so if you weren't achieving all or a significant part of your performance bonus, you were probably on you way out. The bonus was generally something that was a likelihood or something that you can count on as part of your comp provided you were doing a good job, rather than a "what if" or "nice to have" like at many other companies.
