Disability Insurance

One strong point about Tech Mahindra’s disability insurance is that it provides a safety net if an employee suffers a disabling accident, which not all companies include. On the downside, like many disability plans, it may have limits—such as accident-only coverage, benefit caps, or waiting periods—that could reduce how useful it feels in practice.

if you are on contract there is no paid holidays. full time have paid holidays and they are good. overall it is good only if you are full time, contractors have no benefit nothing.

Disability insurance is already covered (there is no way to opt-out of it). This is the one insurance that seems most robust, though I have the feeling that nobody has put it to the test at this company.
