You can work from home, but there's no clear rules governing when you can or cannot, and approval can be rescinded at any time, for any or no reason. If your agreement to work virtually is rescinded, you can move to a city with an office, at your own expense, and incur all of the commuting costs and additional time, at the same pay, or find a different job.

Most professional services are virtual and work from a client site.

This depends on the position and the need to work from home, but most managers are flexible.

They dislike this but will make exceptions if you choose to work more than 40 hours.

This is excellent plan to allow you to work from home. You get either one of Teradata paying for your wifi home internet or a 4G hotspot device. You cell phone is paid for. You get just about anything you want from Office Depot within reason and it is all paid for. The supply only a Windows OS laptop. No mouse or external keyboard or monitor.
