Stock options are awarded upon hire that vest over 4 years (25% in year one and then 16.25% each quarter until all have been awarded).

I’ve never used this benefit because it hasn’t been offered very often. They typically offer for RSU or stock purchase plans

only received stock options on my first year anniversary and getting hired. poor management did not considerate optional at the 2, and 3 year, even though regional management stated that it is standard practice. 25% vest each year employed.

This varies. Stock is awarded with promotions but not with much else. If you are lucky enough to get shares, it is a nice perk.

Better to have cash bonuses and not a dollar amount of stocks due to taxes coming out never expect the whole amount

I again asked for more during hiring and was award more, I believe having a stack in the companies stock, a small bit of ownership makes the job mean more.

This is part of the salary negotiation process. Depending on stock market performance, this could be worth a lot, or nothing

You get stock every year, depending on your performance.
