Depended on which state you worked in. Sometimes the associate refused to file a W/C claim, because disability paid more. UPS always took care of their W/C employee injuries.

At UPS, I am not presented with a occupational accident insurance plan. I am a part-time seasonal employee. I have just begun to work with UPS. I imagine that the full-time employees are presented with many different plans that are beneficial to their employees.

UPS's occupation accident insurance will cover costs, along with the employee's insurance that they have. Some management employees only care about performance, and would have no problem telling someone that is having a heart attack or stroke to drive themselves to the hospital.
