You get weeks to years of job training. And it doesnt stop once you get the initial "This is how you do your job" either. Its a continuing education thing.

Aviation training was top notch and is highly respected in civilian industry. Continual training and progressive opportunities exist throughout a career.

Basic training, then AIT, then training at your first duty station under direct supervision of experienced operators in your craft. You cant replicate that amount of intense and effective training in the civilian workforce.

We are pretty much training every day for our very fact paced mission sets.
