Basic level training meets minimum standards but initiative and leadership interest is required for more advanced plans due to time away from assigned duties.

Schools are able to teach complicated tasks in very little time. Completed a EMT-B course, requires 6 months in civilian school, but 30 days in the Army.

Too much information and not enough time to actually digest it. No certifications immediately after training class. Hard to stay current on skills if you wander around doing miscellaneous other jobs and not the one you have been trained on. Makes it hard when you leave the military and looking to get a foot hold in a civilian company that expects you to be proficient in what you learned several years ago.
