Professional Military Education and skills training can be attended in-person, at Army installations, accessed through on-line websites, or completed in blended learning environments. Course requirements can limit learning environment options.

Overall, there is no better place to be trained.

Training is paid for basic training, job training, and leadership training for the length of the Soldier's career.

You get taught what you need to know for your chosen career, many of which transfer easily to a civilian job once you get out.

Depending on the job, training is sufficient enough to allow the service member to be turned out to the force and operate with confidence. Additional "on the job" training will hone skills even further, and in most cases, an individual can either apply and/or qualify for certifications and ratings recognized in the civilian work sector.
