Good Option to have for (SGLI) Soldiers Group Life Insurance while on Active Duty, you can then switch to (VGLI) Veterans Group Life Insurance once you retire from service, I won't cover much on this topic.

The SGLI while active duty is incredible. It does not continue after you retire, but you can pay into a new one that is very expensive, but is guaranteed regardless of you health condition, which may be necessary.
