Uber always sends out notifications when "hot spots" in order to help maximize your earnings. This always gets me to get up and get back out there for a few hours!

A certain number of trips completed could yield a bonus. But the bonus is sometimes not coherent with the work required to achieve the goal. Sometimes it can be 65 trips for $15. Other times it's 25 trips for $50. This promotion scheme does not benefit the drivers.
