The worst thing about the tuition assistance program at Verizon is that they eliminated their NEXT STEP program. This program allowed you to go to school 1 day a week, and just work 4 days at Verizon.

8k per year and some institutions do not require out-of-pocket costs! I earned my degree using tuition assistance and have no student loans!
