Walgreens has a benefit fund that employees can use when they are in need. It was a nice program set up long ago when the company was run by a Walgreen. Under the current regime, almost all of the employees could use this fund. They frequently cut pay in subtle (and sometimes overt) ways with very little notice causing financial hardship for the staff. Rent payments don't go down when your paycheck suddenly shrinks.

Never used it and don't know anyone who has they pay crap so they assistance program hame home burglary alarms doesn't help you can't afford rent.

You would have to have had a natural disaster hit you to be approved. Not sure I know anyone that has benefited from this so not sure.
