Health Insurance

There are different packages, good prices just limited provider lists.

Very expensive with large co-pays.

Walmart offers a variety of Health Insurance options including a Health Care Savings account. Although they will pay a portion, they have increasingly passed more and more of the cost to the associate. I would rate them a little low in this area because many associates that have left the company have reported that the Health Care their new employer offers is much better and cheaper even with lower deductibles. They do offer health care though so that is a plus.

You need to pay co-pay... not everything is fully cover

provide more than most competitors do

It’s improving it’s a work on progress but it’s better than nothing

The best thing is Walmart has so many employees that they negotiated pretty hard with insurers to get what appears to be above average coverage. The bad thing is employee contributions are difficult with the low pay.

You're​ allowed to split amongst your family members. Didn't get a chance to use it. but it's good that they provide health insurance
