Folks at McK/BCG Detroit, is it feasible to be based out of the Detroit office while living in Windsor? Context: I'm an incoming MBA candidate at an M7 recruiting for consulting. My wife is Canadian and would prefer that we live in Canada. I've been thinking of the Detroit office as a middle ground, but I'm wondering if this is allowed at MBB.

I've received an offer to join Bain's ACI class next summer, and with nothing to do for the next year, I'm looking for ways to best prepare for the internship and maximize my chances at a return offer. I know there's a week-long training at the start, but I feel like that won't cover everything I need to know, nor provide me enough time to practice the skills I learn over the week.
