If you're a normal nice dude whose on the level you'll do fine. They look for people who don't strike them as typical "garbage men". They want people who can handle long hours and are well spoken, not your typical rough-necks. Usually they go for university educated, or current university students. Very fraternal culture, but girls shouldn't feel weird about applying if they're comfortable with heavy lifting. Dress decently, I think I went with business casual, and either shave or if you have a beard shave your neckline. This is something they're big on and will have you do every day for work anyway.
