It was super awkward. I understand that it's a tech company with a relaxed "work hard, play hard" vibe, but even a modicum of professionalism would have been nice. My interviewer was super eccentric and spacy--think, an SNL Rachel Dratch character mixed with Pheobe on Friends--which would be fine, except she was extremely uninterested (or maybe bored?) by the whole process. Her and the Art Director were noshing on Starbursts and really struggling to come up with basic questions (or answer mine).
This job interview was actually in the winter of 2014, but since I saw they are looking for a copywriter again, I figured I would give some enterprising young creatives a heads up. Be prepared for their unpreparedness, otherwise you'll be enduring some long, bizarre silences.
