      IT Systems Analyst Interview

      Jul 16, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Denver, CO
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at 2U (Denver, CO) in May 2018

      Interview

This organization is the least bit organized and it shows through their employees and their lack of quality responses and stumbles. Between the constant reschedules and requirements of 2+ hour long interviews (which I had to basically tell them wasnt happening as I had another career at the time.) you would end up just bagging it due to poor management. It was clear through their line of questioning that I must have been either overly qualified for the position or they thought Id jump ship at the next best opportunity. When asked about certifications that I had and the difficulty of obtaining them which even their own management didn't have, it kicked a few flags off in my head that I probably wasnt going to be getting a call back. Everything was about why I wanted to leave my current position and why I wanted to take 3 steps backwards in my current career to start a different path of work. Process was super drawn out after numerous reschedules with plenty of times that worked for me...one of them being their office closing early, seriously? Get yourselves together lol. My phone was blowing up one scheduled interview morning while I was at my current job and in a client conference call and by the intervals of calls and the voicemail left and then the email that hit my inbox...I knew once again there was an issue, another reschedule - I texted my friends that referred me for the position that currently work there. They even were shocked to hear about the headaches I had gone through for just an interview but convinced me to still give them a shot. I think this corporation might be great for a college graduate or someone who needs to get some corporate america experience but after working for a government contractor and a fortune 500 tech company in two major citys...Amateur hour seems to round the clock in this camp site.
