I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at 6sense (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
I received an email with a take home assessment. The email stated that the assignment will take roughly 4 hours of work, and asked the results to be sent within the next 4 days. The chosen problem was pretty straightforward, and even has online solutions, such as texasmichelle's challenge-purchase-predict repository on github.
I received a blank boilerplate rejection email within a few hours after I emailed my results. When I reached out for feedback, a junior data scientist resent the same rejection email.

Question 1
The training data is pulled from raw logs. It has three columns that record user activity over time:
user_id: A hash that uniquely identifies the user.
activity_date: The date of the activity
activity_type: The type of activity
6sense would like to predict which users will purchase given the user's activities.
Using the training data, build a model that predicts which user_id's will make a purchase in the future. Use the model to score the test data from most likely to least likely to purchase.
Please submit the following:
(1) Descibe which activity types you believe are most useful in predicting which user will purchase in the future.
(2) Provide a file containing the 1000 user_id's most likely to convert.
(3) [optional] Any work used to generate the list and/or notes you'd like to include.
The dataset is available for download online on kaggle.
I'm based in Singapore and was supposed to have my first round interview with some HR in India. Yet he never replied to any question/email I sent at all, nor to the available timeslot proposed.
Totally unprofessional.

Interview
Recruiter reached out for an exploratory call twice but never called. Would have been nice to at least know if the position was filled. I don’t appreciate setting time aside during a busy work day only to be ghosted twice.
