I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at A.S. Watson Group (Hong Kong) in May 2024
Interview
- a technical interview involving a 30-min study on two business cases / analyses
- too much info to digest in 30 mins, and interviewers asked too vaguely on the topics and expected you to give out advice on improving the existing methodology (which probably they didn’t have clear answer themselves)
- unwilling to share any information about the team and projects taken, impeding a constructive intellectual interchange
- the senior manager (interviewer) was arrogant & intimidating. Would challenge every ideas proposed, instead of guiding the discussion for solution or convolving (old seafood mentality)

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at A.S. Watson Group (Hong Kong) in May 2025
Interview
The interview was a three-round process: the first round was with HR, followed by separate rounds with two different hiring managers. The overall atmosphere across all interviews was relaxed and conversational. Each interviewer seemed interested in having an open discussion, focusing on broad, open-ended questions and adapting the direction based on my responses.
