I was referred by an employee for the position and was sent an on-line application and personality/IQ test. It took about 1 month for the recruiter to contact me after I completed the on-line assessment and left her a message to follow up. I had about a 45 min. phone interview, she was not very pleasant. Asked the typical, why are you interested in this job, etc. and talked about the job details. I received a call within 30 minutes after the interview to set up a meeting with the sales manager. Upon meeting him, he explained that there are multiple sales managers at their branch and the interview is typically done with all of them at the same time, however two were out of the office. Not sure why an interview would be scheduled if not all parties were available.
I got the impression that they are a conservative company and they may have the tendency to micro-manage. He talked about the importance of being a relationship builder in the sales process but possibly that is not what they are truly looking for. The interview lasted 1.5 hours and I thought it went well but received the "thanks but not thanks" email from the recruiter the following week.
My advice to other candidates: do research on the company, their product/service offerings and the position. Be knowledgeable about ADP when interviewing.
