I applied online. I interviewed at ADP (Tempe, AZ) in Jul 2017
Interview
The Interview Process was very professional yet very relaxed. I had an initial phone interview with the recruiter and then a in person interview at the office. After that I have another interview with the VP and they were very accommodating to my schedule.

Question 1
There were a couple of quick questions like: "tell me about a time you had to solve a difficult problem..." After those were done it was a very relaxed conversation. I really enjoyed the interview process.
I applied online. I interviewed at ADP (Pasadena, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
Lots of calling back and forth to the east coast with no follow up from ADP locally in CA. I was very surprised by the lack of professionalism in the interview. The hiring manager showed up almost 2 hours late to the appointment. He didn't seem to have many questions prepared, but did talk quite a bit about the company and the current situation. After taking 20+ hours to prepare a business case for them; little to no attention was paid to it.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2017
Interview
First, there was a phone screen with the ADP corporate recruiter. He asked pretty basic questions about experience, interest in the position, and desired salary range. I'm pretty sure that as long as you don't fall flat on your face, you'll be fine on this step. About 15 minutes.
That is followed by a phone screen with a potential manager for the position that you apply for. This is a longer/more in-depth interview that could be up to an hour. Mine only lasted 30 minutes.
If you make it past the phone screens, they'll invite you to interview in person. The in person interview was more intense. It was a 3 hour interview where I met with 1 manager for an hour, another for the second hour, etc. These one-on-one interviews vary depending on the person you're talking to, obviously. Questions were more specific and geared towards past experience. They also spent a good deal of time explaining the position and the structure of ADP, which was very helpful. The second interviewer of the 3 was definitely pretty intimidating and intense, but I think that was just her style. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable.
The whole process took about 3 weeks. In the end I got an offer but I did turn it down because the pay did not match what I was looking for.
Thank you for the insightful review into the ADP interview process. Sorry to hear you turned down the offer. Hopefully you will reconsider in the future being part of ADP.
