I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at AECOM
Interview
We talked on my skills that I have learned throughout my college career and some goals that I wanted to achieve in an internship. The interviewer was very nice and it was refreshing to talk about actual projects, not HR questions on my personality.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AECOM (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I completed 2 phone interviews since I could not travel to their office and they didn't have on-campus interviews. The first interview was fairly simple. The interviewer asked very basic questions based off of my resume. I was asked to explain my past work experience, as well as what extracurricular activities I was involved in at the time. The interviewer asked about my microstation experience. In the second interview (about 3 weeks later) I was asked about my availability and if I was okay with travel. Based off the second interview I figured I had the job, but they just needed details to see how long I could work for and if it was worth hiring me for only one summer. About a week after the second interview I received an offer.
