I applied through college or university. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL
Interview
After sending in a resume, you'll get a math test. If you get through that round, you'll get a behavioral Myers-Briggs type test. Then you'll be asked to do a video interview where the moment you see a question, you have to start answering. Then comes the phone interview. The trader was a little late to my call. I felt rushed even by trading firm standards through the call. Some of the questions don't have clear-cut answers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How much would you pay to play a game with __________ expected value? What if I raised the maximum gain and loss?
The interview process consists of an online assessment, phone screen, phone interview, and final interview. The phone screen was with a recruiter, the phone interview was with a trader, and the final interview was with a trader.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Did the Options 201 course. It consisted of math and options questions. Top performers of the course move on to a behavioral interview. Very standard behavioral questions like "why trading" / "why Akuna".
Good. some questions are hard but others are easy, the pace is good. overall it's average. I didnt pass. I've no idea why. But I think the interview process is fair.
