The interview process consists of an online assessment, phone screen, phone interview, and final interview. The phone screen was with a recruiter, the phone interview was with a trader, and the final interview was with a trader.
Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL
Interview
Math and Personality online test. The math has two parts, multiplication/division and then patterns and sequences.
Next was a phone interview which was more mental math, and options theory stuff. And then resume review.
Finally there was a final interview over webcam with two traders at Akuna. Extremely difficult if you don't study brain teasers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You have 3000 apples, and 1 truck that can carry a maximum of 1000 apples. The truck also drops an apple for every mile it drives and the apple gets destroyed. Whats the maximum amount of apples you can take to a city 1000 miles away?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Did the Options 201 course. It consisted of math and options questions. Top performers of the course move on to a behavioral interview. Very standard behavioral questions like "why trading" / "why Akuna".
Good. some questions are hard but others are easy, the pace is good. overall it's average. I didnt pass. I've no idea why. But I think the interview process is fair.
