Before stepping into the interview, I did go through all the reviews posted here by current and ex employees and to be honest they were mostly negative. I was a bit skeptical about the company even before entering into the interview and had very low expectations. The interview went really smooth and the questions were mostly based on my own experiences (technical and commercial). Things started to change when the interviewer asked me if I would be flexible to work for other industrial projects which were totally irrelevant to the position I had initially applied for. And this is exactly what the employees of Alten have been blaming at that they make you work on anything. At the end when it came to salary the interviewer offered a figure which was below not only my expectations but lesser than my current salary. I knew there itself, this is not the company to work for.
