Interview
This is an interview for the CPU research team. I was contacted by two members of the team that work on different projects. They took two rounds of interview where I was asked technical questions about CPU design, optimizations, and my research experience.

Question 1
Describe the design of a CPU pipeline?
What are vector extensions and what are their advantages and disadvantages?
How can you optimize the CPU pipeline execution at each stage?
I had an initial screening interview where I was asked about technical terms related to the role. At the end of the call, I was told I would move on to a second screening the following week. I later received a follow up email confirming this, and completed the second interview as scheduled.
However, during the second screening, I was asked many of the same questions as in the first interview. This made the process feel repetitive and somewhat uncoordinated.
