Interview
Started with a screening call with the recruiter, then an hour interview with the hiring manager, the hiring manager’s manager, two people from different groups which the position would interact with, and three peers in the immediate group.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at AMD in Mar 2013
Interview
Multiple 1/2 hour discussions with people from different groups. There was a phone screen and then a day of in-person 1x1 interviews. I received a call with the offer two days later. There was a sign on bonus and stock options as well. All in all, it was a straightforward and fairly painless process.
