I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AT&T (Atlanta, GA) in Mar 2012
Interview
Two interviews, one by phone and one in person. The job was a good fit to my background, but not an area I had worked in before. There was a high overlap with my skills however, and an understanding that the role would evolve (which it has). All interaction and negotiation was coordinated by the contracting firm. Included a drug test off-site and a background security and credit check. I thnk I had to pay $50-100 for the testing and background.
