      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Dallas, TX) in May 2024

      Interview

I applied on April 28. I received the first interview invite on May 6. The first interview took place via Zoom on May 10. It was with a recruiter, but she kept her camera off. I kept my camera on. I answered basic behavioral interview questions. They do ask "in 60 seconds, pitch me your university." I had talked to LinkedIn connections who work at AT&T prior and they told me about this question, so I was well prepared. I started off with a question, asking them what they were looking for in a school. From their answers, then I would explain the benefits. I tried to pitch only what is relevant. I received a phone call on May 14 to schedule the final interview. It was a behavioral interview and mock sales call with your preferred area manager. They emailed me the preparation materials. The purpose of the mock sales call is to demonstrate your ability to describe AT&T products, problem solve, and listen to a client's problems. The final interview took place on May 24. I thought the area manager said "ummm" a lot, so we didn't vibe that well. However, I received an offer about a week later. This recruitment process didn't feel as friendly compared to other companies'!

      Interview

First round was with a recruiter a the final was with a manager in my area, although the final round got rescheduled four times. I would recommend going over the sales pipeline and consultative sales for these interviews.
