I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Abbott (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2019
Interview
Multiple meetings to discuss business plans and relationships. There was nothing earth shattering about the interview process. It depends on the person interviewing you and how they conduct their interviews. There was no 'sell me this pen' moment. There was no corporate interrogation session. It was more of a get to know you as a person and how you handle yourself with customers process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No specific interrogation questions... more of a get to know you and understand your business acumen.
Very conversational, personal, etc. Great team, and the interview is just to see if you have the interpersonal skills to work with the team as well as the problem solving skills and work ethic to succeed. I ended up turning down the job offer because I realized it wasn’t the career I wanted, but working with that team would have been great.
It was a long process and felt like it was a bit repetitive in regards to the conversations that were had. I know it’s a large company so that comes with it
video interview to be sent in before even talking to someone. took to long, impersonal. no updates for any portion of the process. I did not receive an offer but I continued interviewed with other companies.
