Abbott Senior Financial Analyst interview questions

Interviewed January 2024 specifically for Abbott Lingo. Got through to manager screen. Interview went well. Typical chat about qualifications, experience, and what I could bring to the team. Manager mentioned they’d love to have me back. Never heard from team again, but I did see that Abbott had massive layoffs about a month afterward. I’m guessing that is why. Overall not too bad and would’ve loved to hear back but understood the circumstances around the job availability.

I applied online and then 2 weeks later, I got a random on-site interview email invite for a random time that I was not available at. No phone screen or communication with the recruiter, they didn't even ask for my availability. If I was going to do an onsite interview, I would want to speak with somebody first to ensure that we are aligned on compensation and the role at a high level. This kind of put me off so I told them I no longer interested in the position when I was contacted to confirm the interview. Do better Abbott.
