I was actually recruited. I was having lunch at the food court in the mall when a manager from A&F sat down next to me and asked me if I ever considered working at A&F. She gave me a piece of paper with a website address on it and a password. She told me to go to the website and fill out an application. I filled out the application and set up a date for my interview. I interviewed on a Tuesday and got a call from the hiring manager on Friday telling me she was offering me the job. It was a group interview but the interview was pretty relaxed. She asked us a series of four questions. The first two questions being about our personality and how others would describe us. The last two questions were about diversity in the workplace and we were asked to describe the A&F style. Like I said, it was pretty easy and everyone was friendly. To be honest, we all kind of answered our questions the same...that's how simple the questions were. I came dressed in denim jeans and a blue/white striped tank top. I wore my make-up very light and natural, my hair was down with loose curls, and my fingernails were painted with "nude pink". Just be sure to go into the interview with confidence and be sure to smile. They want to see your personality and how well you interact with "strangers".
