Most people will say that the way they got hired at Abercrombie and Fitch is that they got approached by a manager of the store in their area. And 9 times out of 10, the first way to get hired there is to be asked. But, that doesn't mean I haven't seen people come in and ask to fill out an application. Most of the time they'll give you a website to go onto to fill out an application but other times that can be done in the store. It really depends on who you talk to. When you fill out an application online it will give you an option to pick which time and day you want to have your interview. The managers will see this so they will be calling you to confirm it. When dressing for this interview you want to embody the type of clothing they sell, you'll get brownie points this way. If you wear something simple, laid back but classy you'll be fine. When I came for my interview there was only one other girl there waiting with me. The manager took both of us out into the mall to sit down somewhere away from the store. She asked us a couple questions about ourselves first like what qualities represented us and out of those qualities what was our strongest. When she got into the company questions she didn't ask us both the same questions EXCEPT the diversity question, but I'll get to that later. Like I said, since there was only 2 of us with her she didn't ask us the same two questions. The only questions I can remember is " What style do you think Abercrombie is?" and " Give an example of a time when you helped someone out." something like that. When she got to the diversity question she asked " What is diversity? and is it important to be used in the workplace?" I gave my answer below. After our questions she straight up told both us we had the job. After that she went over the company rules, how long we'd be staying to clean up after closing things like that. And then we just had casual talk, it was really laidback and not stressful at all because these managers are not much older than the associates. Then she told us that the next day will be our orientation.
