I applied online. I interviewed at Abercrombie & Fitch
Interview
The first round is very easily and not stressful at all. They just want to get to know you and what you are interested in and your previous experiences. My interviewer complimented my resume multiple times and hyped me up.
The interview process was conducted through a recorded format, where each question was pre-recorded and presented on the screen for me to view. After listening to or reading the question, I was then given a set amount of time to prepare my response before recording my answer in video form and submitting it. This format is quite similar to the typical structure of a HireVue interview, where there’s no live interviewer; instead, you interact with a digital platform that facilitates the interview process. The experience felt much like other video-based interview systems, allowing me to provide my responses at my own pace, but still under the constraints of the time limit for each question. This method of interviewing was convenient in terms of scheduling, but also required a level of comfort with speaking on camera and managing the pressure of recording within the given time frame.
