I came in the store one day and asked for an application, the manager took me to the kiosk and told me it would take about 20 minutes to fill it out, you get to choose your interview time of preference. Usually there will be no confirmation call for when your interview is. I called in the day before and realized that I had been scheduled in the group interview for 4pm the next day. When I arrived they told me to wait in the lounge until all the interviewees arrived. We moved to a small cafe in a different part of the mall, and there were only three of us, so it was a shorter group interview. The main question they will always ask at Abercrombie&Fitch, Hollister, and probably American Eagle and Aeropostale is "What is diversity to you? And why is it important in the workforce?" It was a fun casual interview and it looked more like a group of friends having fun then a professional interview. The manager said we would hear in a week if we landed the job. I called five days later learning that they hired better qualified people, and that they appreciated that I took my time to be interviewed by them. I believe it was the style I wore the day of the interview that might of lowered my chances.
