Initially, I applied for an Associate, Affiliate Marketing position. I had a phone interview that went really well and she informed me that she thought I'd be better suited for a Senior Associate position. I was then asked to complete a homework assignment. Once that was completed, I moved on to an interview with 2 employees who held senior positions with the company. This was a really important interview as it was where they discussed my qualifications the most. I felt like this interview was one of the best I've ever had. They were very thorough with the questions they asked. It really felt like a conversation more than a question/answer type scenario. I was comfortable and learned a lot about the company at this point. This was followed by a phone call stating that they thought I'd be better in an account manager position, which required an additional homework assignment, a presentation, and a final in-person interview with someone in my area. It became very obvious that the company values putting the right people in the right positions. Overall, it was a very lengthy process, but I am thankful for it. I learned so much about the company, had plenty of opportunities to ask so many questions to learn more about the vision, mission, values, and overall atmosphere of the company. I have never felt more confident in a career decision than I do accepting a position with AP.
