It was an 8-hour long procedure. It started with a brief presentation of the company and emphasis was placed on the benefits and the heavy travelling requirements of the role.
Next, we had to complete a typical numerical test, followed by a statistical to assess our knowledge of classification algorithms, clustering and time series forecasting. Next, we had to complete a multiple choice test on SQL which was quite advanced. The last test involved a case study related to database management and testing.
During the final part of the assessment process, each candidate had an interview with 2 senior consultants. One of them had an aggressive interviewing style. The other person had a neutral interviewing style and was mostly focused on assessing my technical skills.
Pros:
- Even if you do not do well, you can benefit from this experience to identify areas (skills or personality traits) you need to improve to get a job offer.
- Dealing with an aggressive interviewer is challenging but you can treat it as an opportunity to build resilience. This will help you overcome negativity and stay focused on your job search.
Cons:
- They never informed me of the outcome of my application. No feedback was provided.
