Interview
I applied online through the Accruent website. I received an email two days later letting me know they were interesting in beginning the interview process based upon my resume and work experience. I received a link to their online assessment and personality test. You have 15 mins to finish the personality portion and 15 mins to complete the 50 question assessment. The personality test is standard, and the assessment is SAT style questions.
Once submitted, I received an email from the recruiter thanking me for taking the test and that they would be in touch with further steps. I received an email about a week later saying that they decided to go with another candidate.
As mentioned by other people, Accruent does not release your test results or let you know why they decide to go with someone else. I thought the assessment was fairly easy. So my conclusion is that either I'm not as intelligent as I thought, or that my personality was not a good fit for the company.
My overall interaction with Accruent was pretty short. The tests weren't terribly time consuming and I didn't really feel like I wasted my time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accruent (Austin, TX) in Jun 2021
Interview
Pretty straight forward. A lot of ethical or dilemma type problems. After you get through the first phase, there is a second SET of interviews, generally 4-5 quick ones with different departments. All of them were about the same.
Was scheduled to meet with 3 different interviewers one day. When I showed up, they claimed the main interviewer was sick for that day so I had to sit down and do an interview over a conference call while another employee took notes. It seemed they had already filled the roll but when ahead and went through with my interview, essentially wasting everyone's time.

Question 1
Tell me about a product you like, and why you like it
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Accruent in Feb 2016
Interview
The first step involved a telephone interview which went very well. The next step involved an online assessment test/quiz. I was then asked to repeat this same test/quiz onsite and advised that all candidates must repeat this test/quiz. My initial thought was this is creating a sense of mistrust at the onset. Did Accruent feel I did not complete the online test/quiz myself? Not a great way to begin a potential work relationship. When I arrived to retake the test/quiz I was led into a small room with a computer. I was instructed to use a stack of paper and pen only and not to use any electronics. Really? Who in the business world gives these instructions today? I completed the test/quiz and was escorted to the elevator.
