Achievement First Middle School Math Teacher interview questions

The first step of the process was a phone interview, the recruiter took the time to ask questions and inform the candidate of the expectations and Achievement First community. The next step was to teach a 15-minute mini lesson during a finalist interview. Before the finalist interview, the recruiter gives the candidate an opportunity to observe teaching to help create and implement the mini lesson. During the process the recruiter was very attentive and helpful, and all steps were informed in a timely mannor.

I was contacted by a recruiter, who conducted an initial interview over the phone and asked me about my preferences for matching with a particular school in the network. Within a day or two, the recruiter matched me with a potential school; within a week, I toured that school, taught a sample class to students, and conducted an in-person interview with the principal and some key leaders. A few days later, I conducted a final interview with other members of the leadership team. Everyone in the interview chain was incredibly helpful, friendly, and candid about their expectations. I highly recommend Achievement First's interview process.
