1st- phone interview: spoke to someone who was very enthusiastic about company and spoke of training in California or Florida and traveling to conferences every year. Interest was built!
2nd - in person. Met with woman who explained a job with no work/life balance. Core hours 8am-5pm, with expectation to work after hours from home. I asked about flexibility in hours (say for an appointment or family obligation) and was told no. Also noted that almost everyone works through their lunch breaks, which left me questioning if it would be frowned upon to take a lunch break. I left and decided not to send thank you note as I usually do, this was not a place a person with a family should be working.
