I applied online and the in-house recruiter (from California) called me back very quickly. He told me how excited he was to find a profile like mine. He scheduled two interviews in the New York office with a software engineer and a product manager. The software engineer had some good questions. The second meeting was not very interesting, general questions, not much substance ... I thought the interviews went fairly well, but after a couple of days the recruiter sent me a generic email about how the pool of candidates was very competitive and so on.
Overall, don't get excited if the in-house recruiter seems excited about you. He most likely does that to anyone like a good salesman.

Took around two to three months. Reasonable interview. Lots of financial background information. Some technological background questions as well. Very relaxed interview enviroment. Interviewers were great. Great process overall. No cons

1. Phone screening - Started off with a standard phone screening and quickly moved onto the next rounds. 2. 30-min interview with team member - The first interviewer was really nice, attentive and genuinely interested in having a conversation. 3. Another 30-min interview with team member - The second interviewer was rude, arrogant and unfriendly. It felt as though they didn't care what I had to say. 4. Case study interview - I was assigned a case study that took a few hours to put together. During the interview, we roleplayed myself being the PM, and the 4 interviewers being the clients. The interviewers were rude, hostile and asked unfair questions. They were yelling over each other and at me. It felt like a stress test. By the end of the case study interview, I didn't even want the job anymore because they left me with such a negative impression.
